This is a nice analogy, so take heed of the advice...

Once upon a time, there was a very strong man. He asked for a job from a timber merchant and he got it. The pay was really good and so were the work conditions. For that reason, the man was determined to do his best. His boss gave him an axe and showed him the area where he is supposed to work. The first day, he brought down 18 trees. The Boss was very much impressed and said, "Congratulations Go on that way! Very motivated by the words of the boss, he tried harder the next day, but only could bring down 15 trees. The third day he tried even harder, but he could only bring down 10 trees. Day after day he was bringing down less and less trees. "I must be losing my strength", he thought to himself. He went to the Boss and apologized, saying that he could not understand what was going on. "When was the last time you sharpened
Your axe?" the boss asked. "Sharpen? I had no time to sharpen my axe. I have been busy cutting trees.

The moral of this story:

Our lives are like that. We sometimes get so busy that we don't take time to sharpen the axe. In today's world, it seems that everyone is busier than ever, but less happy than ever. Why is that? Could it be that we have forgotten how to stay sharp? There's nothing wrong with activity and hard work. But we should not get so busy and neglect the truly important things in life, like our personal. Life, taking time to care for others, Taking time to read etc. We all need time to relax, to think and meditate, to learn and grow. If you don't take the time to sharpen the axe, we will become dull and lose our effectiveness. So, start from today, think about the ways by
which you could do your job more effectively and add a lot of value to it. Hope this story has given you some insight to life, may you be happy always!

10 things you should know about Windows XP's System Restore tool

Windows XP’s System Restore lets you restore your computer to a previous time if a problem occurs. To accomplish this feat, System Restore continuously monitors your system looking for significant changes to the operating system, such as an application or driver installation procedure, automatically creating a restore point when it detects an impending change. System Restore will also create restore points every 24 hours. Restore points are essentially snapshots of your system state, which comprises crucial system files including certain parts of the registry. System Restore maintains multiple restore points, which gives you the choice of restoring your computer to any number of previously saved states. Here are 10 things you should know about getting the most from Windows XP's System Restore tool.

1. Data files and System Restore
Because System Restore is described as a tool that allows you to restore your computer to a previous time, many people mistakenly assume that they will lose any data files they've created since the restore point was created. However, System Restore doesn't monitor or save the contents of the My Documents folder, any files that use common data filename extensions, such as .doc or .xls, e-mail message stores, browsing history, or even password files. Those files will remain intact whenyou restore your system. However, keep in mind that the Desktop is not a protected folder, and any files that exist there could be lost during a restore operation. So before you perform a restore operation, you should move any crucial files you have saved on the Desktop to the My Documents folder.
2. Undoing a restore operation
If you perform a restore operation and then determine that the problem still exists, you can undo the operation. To do so, you must immediately run System Restore. When you see the Welcome To System Restore screen, select the Undo My Last Restoration option and click Next. On the Confirm Restoration Undo screen, click Next. System Restore will restore the previous system state and restart the computer. When the system restarts and you log on, you'll see System Restore's Undo Complete screen, which lets you know the operation was successful. If you perform a restore operation and then determine that you selected the wrong restore point date, simply run System Restore again and select the restore point date you wanted. If you perform a successful restore operation and discover that your computer won't boot Windows normally, you can still undo the restore operation. First, boot the system into Safe Mode. After you log on, a Warning dialog box will appear, allowing you to launch System Restore and select the Undo My Last Restoration option. If the restore operations fails, the Restoration Was Unsuccessful screen will appear, and your computer will automatically return to the same state it was in when you activated the restore operation. In other words, no changes will be made to your computer.
3. Running System Restore from a command prompt
If your computer won't boot Windows normally and won't boot into the Safe Mode GUI, you can still access System Restore. Start by booting the system using the Safe Mode With Command Prompt option. After you log on, type the following command line at the command prompt:
%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe
Press [Enter], and System Restore will run as it normally does. You can follow the steps in the wizard to perform a restore operation.

4. Purging restore points
System Restore by default claims a maximum of 12 percent of the available hard disk space to save the restore points. (The amount of storage space will depend on the size of your hard disk.) Once the 12 percent mark is reached, System Restore will purge the oldest restore points in its database to make room for new ones. However, there may be situations where you need or want to purge restore points to free up disk space. Fortunately, the Disk Cleanup utility will allow you to delete all butthe most recent restore point. You can launch Disk Cleanup from the Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools menu. Once Disk Cleanup is up and running, select the More Options tab and click the Cleanup button in the System Restore panel. You'll then be prompted to confirm the delete operation.
5. Reining in System Restore's disk space usage
To perform its operations, System Restore requires at least 200 MB ofav avilable hard disk space. However, if more disk space is available, System Restore will claim up to 12 percent of it to save the restore points. Although System Restore can use that full 12 percent if it's available, this chunk of disk space is not reserved. System Restore will yield disk space back to the system if it's needed. Furthermore, restore points more than 90 days old are automatically purged by default.
If you want to see how much hard disk space System Restore has potentially set aside on your system, press [Windows][Break] to bring up the System Properties dialog box and then choose the System Restore tab. Next, select your hard disk from the Available Drive list and click the Settings button. When the Drive Settings dialog box appears, you'll see a number in the Disk Space Usage panel that represents the amount of space in MB that System Restore is using to amass restore points. For example, on a system with an 80GB hard disk, System Restore's 12% amounts to nearly 9 GB. If you feel that System Restore has the potential to take up too much disk space, move the slider to the left to specify a more reasonable amount of hard disk space for System Restore to store its multiple restore points.
6. Manually creating a restore point
System Restore will automatically create restore points, but you can manually create one anytime you want. To do so, launch System Restore and then
follow along with the wizard. If want to save yourself a few steps, you can simplify the launching process by copying the System Restore shortcut from the Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools
menu to the desktop
7.Bypassing the System Restore Wizard
If you want to be able to manually create a restore point without having to go through the wizard, you can create a simple two-line _VBScript file that uses WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) to instantly create a restore point. Just launch Notepad and type these two lines:
Set IRP = getobject("winmgmts:\\.\root\default:Systemrestore")
MYRP = IRP.createrestorepoint ("My Restore Point", 0, 100)
Then, save the file as MyRestorePoint.vbs. Now, you can easily create an restore point by double-clicking the script's icon. When you do, System Restore will run in the background without displaying its interface and will
create a restore point called My Restore Point.
8. Steps to avoid restoring viruses
If you know that your system is infected by a virus, you should temporarily turn off System Restore. Otherwise, the virus could be saved along with other system files in a restore point and reintroduced to your system during a restore operation at a later date. To turn off System Restore, press [Windows][Break] to bring up the System Properties dialog box. Then, choose the System Restore tab, select the Turn Off System Restore check box, and click OK. As soon as you do, you'll see a confirmation dialog box warning you that turning off System Restore will delete all existing restore points. Click Yes to continue. You can now use your antivirus software to clean up your system. When the virus has been eradicated, access the System Restore tab again and clear the Turn Off System Restore check box. Click OK to
re-enable System Restore.
9. Disabling System Restore for data drives
If you have additional hard disks connected to your computer, System Restore will automatically add them to its list of monitored drives. If these additional drives just store data or data backups, there's no reason to have System Restore monitor them. To disable System Restore for data drives, press [Windows][Break] to bring up the System Properties dialog box. Then, choose the System Restore tab. Next, select your hard disk from the Available Drive list and click the Settings button. When the Drive Settings dialog box appears, select the Turn Off System Restore On This Drive check box and click OK. You'll see a confirmation dialog box warning that by turning off System Restore on this drive, you won't be able to track or undo harmful changes on it. Click Yes to continue. Then, click OK to close the System Properties dialog box.
10. Determining the actual amount of space System Restore is using
You can easily determine how much disk space System Restore can potentially use, but you may also want to determine how much disk space System Restore is actually using. If you're running Windows XP Professional and the hard disk is using NTFS, you can find out. You'll begin by making a few configuration changes from an Administrator account that will allow you to investigate the hidden and protected folder called System Volume Information, located in the root directory of your hard disk. Keep in mind that this information is meant only for investigative purposes. Making any changes to the files in the System Volume Information folder will disrupt or otherwise damage System Restore's ability to do its job.

From within Windows Explorer, access the View tab of the Folder Options dialog box. Then, select the Show Hidden Files And Folders option, deselect the Hide Protected Operating System Files check box, and click Yes in the Warning dialog box. (If the system is in a workgroup, you'll need to deselect the Use Simple File Sharing check box as well.) Click OK to close the Folder Options dialog box. Now, access the root directory of the hard disk, right-click on the System Volume Information folder, select Properties, and access the Security tab. Then, click the Add button, enter your user account name in the Select Users or Groups dialog box, and click OK twice to close both dialog boxes.
At this point, you can open the System Volume Information folder, right-click on the _restore folder, and select Properties. Once Windows XP finishes tallying, check the Size On Disk value to see the exact amount of space System Restore is using for restore points. To ensure the security of the restore point files, you should remove your set account from the System Volume Information folder once you finish your investigation.

COLOUR OF TRUTH
Turn the world around Seek the shape of life Look at yourself in a different frame You know it won’t be the same The one with all the pride The one with all the might The one who knows what’s wrong or right But still can’t see the light O mirror tell me what I see Is it true don’t lie to me Colour of truth, what difference does it make Colour of truth, nobody is perfect A dot of evil in a saint’s heart A glimpse of an angel in a criminal’s eye Colour of truth, don’t have to be afraid Colour of truth, it’s the shadow of your fate Good or bad, better or worse Smooth or scar, you are what you are

SEEDLINGS
Sleep well dear children Cause tomorrow you won’t remember me I was your history, what you used to be Can you recall the time you cry When darkness, cold, fear and hunger Scared you to death You wish it wasn’t true Wake up, the children are calling you Have mercy on us, we’re helpless without you Don’t let us die, don’t ask us why I’m telling you to wake up Wrinkled faces of your creator Have mercy on us, words don’t come easy We live in fear from your anger The blood of sin runs through you Candle of life burns on for you Sleep well and never wakes up The wheel has turned Your children controlling you You live in fear from your anger

TAKE A BREAK :

A Polish man moved to the USA and married an American girl.
Although his English was far from perfect, they got along very
well until one day he rushed into a lawyer's office and asked
him if he could arrange a divorce for him.

The lawyer said that getting a divorce could depend on their
circumstances, and asked him the following questions:

Have you any grounds?
Yes, an acre and half and nice little home.
No, I mean what is the foundation of this case?
It made of concrete.

I don't think you understand. Does either of you have a real grudge?

No, we have carport, and not need one.

I mean, what are your relations like?

All my relations still in Poland.

Is there any infidelity in your marriage?

We have hi-fidelity stereo and good DVD player.

Does your wife beat you up?

No, I always up before her.

Is your wife a nagger?

No, she white.

Why do you want this divorce?

She going to kill me.

What makes you think that?

I got proof.

What kind of proof?

She going to poison me. She buy a bottle at drugstore and put on
shelf in bathroom. I can read, and it say:

"Polish Remover".

SOOO TIRED...

Adusss... ngantuk pun ada... letih pun ada... baru sampai rumah setelah bekerja dari pukul 7 pagi semalam hingga petang nih... sempat tido 3 jam jerk... letih2... apa boleh buat... dah tugas... sekali sekala rasa seronok pulak, boleh push ourself to the limit... NO SKY, NO HIGH...

SU-30M (Part 1)

Su-30M (MK-export version) is a standard Su-30 with the air-to-ground missiles which can carry twice the armament (8 tons) compared to the baseline Su-27. The Su-30 'export variant' of the formidable Su-27 'Flanker', can carry the latest Russian air-to-air missiles, including the medium-range R-27 family, the short-range R-73 and the new medium-range R-77 'AMRAAM-ski'. The Sukhoi-30K has a range in excess of 3,000km, which means it can easily patrol offshore installations without requiring aerial refuelling.

Derived from the famous Sukhoi aircraft family - Su-27UBK, Su-30K, Su-35, Su-37 - the Su-30MK epitomises a "universal air warrior", capable of accomplishing a wide variety of combat missions at significant distances from the home base, in any
weather conditions and severe jamming environment, both by day and night.

This multirole aircraft is adequately fitted for the entire spectrum of tactical and operational combat employment scenarios, varying from counterair tasks (i.e. gaining air superiority, air defence, air patrol and escort) to counterland and countersea ones (suppression of hostile air defence, air interdiction and close air support). Additionally, the Su-30MK can perform ECCM and early warning tasks, as well as exercise command-and-control over a group of aerial combat assets performing joint mission. Due to duplicated flight control system, it
can be also employed for realistic flight and combat training.

The Su-30MK aerodynamic configuration is an unstable-in-longitude triplane. To increase lifting effectiveness and enhance manoeuvrability of the aircraft, the canards are installed. They are deflected automatically to ensure flight at high
angle-of-attack.

The integrated aerodynamic configuration, combined with the thrust vectoring control capability, results in unprecedented manoeuvrability and unique take-off and landing characteristics. Equipped with a digital "fly-by-wire" system, Su-30MK is capable of performing a number of feat manoeuvres to counter missile threats and to dominate in dogfight. They include well-known "cobra" and "bell", as well as new ones, which cannot be performed by any other aircraft. The while performing a "somersault" manoeuvre, the aircraft makes 360-deg turn in pitch plane without any loss of altitude. In "controlled flat spin" manoeuvre, the aircraft performs several full
turns in horizontal plane, with zero forward speed, virtually on the spot.

The power plant incorporates two AL-31FP by-pass turbojet reheated engines. The total 25,000-kgf afterburning thrust ensures 2M horizontal flight speed, 1,350-km/h
speed at low altitude, and a 230-m/s climbing rate.

Differential ±15-deg deflection of engines' axisymmetric nozzles (with turn axes positioned at 32-deg angle to each other) enables pitch/yaw thrust vectoring control. Depending on the manoeuvre to be performed, nozzles deflections can be
synchronised with or differ from the deflections of horizontal tail planes.

MEMORIES by CROMOK

I’m not angry with life... I’m just bewildered.. Chains of uncertainty.. Are holding me down Where am I to go... Who am I to blame... What am I to do God, am I insane? I never thought that my smile... Will put me deep into dept... I never thought that my innocence... Would stray me away from reality... I never thought that my life... Would resolved to emptiness... I never thought that in order to live... I have to bear so much pain... The sorrow of life has taught me... To accept many new beginnings... To smile even though it hurts... To reach out even if there’s no one there... To aim high and never say die... Cause there’s always sun at the end of the night Memories Tortured by my own memories... Memories... Trapped in my own memories... If your eyes are full to the brim... The teardrops are sure to fall down... For whom the eyes may starve tomorrow... Who knows, where it get lost... The tears that I had kept hidden in my…

Core Avionics Computer (CAC) SU-30MKM

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

DARE took up the development and delivery in quantities of Mission
Computers, Display Processors and Radar Computers for the Su 30
avionics upgrade. The requirements were analysed and instead of
building three different computers DARE developed nine functional
modules. The chassis was also common across the computers. These
modules use state of the art processors. They are designed as
independent modules to do a specific function such as generating
computer generated imagery for display on HUD or MFD. But they are able
to communicate with the main processor module through high speed Dual
Ported RAMs. This makes development of software for these specific
functions as independent activities. Also, HW changes in one module
does not affect the other modules. Hence this approach reaps the
benefits of Open System Architectures to the full. Later when proposals
for upgrade of the MiG 27 aircraft came up, DARE could respond with a
ready solution by configuring the Display Processor of the Su30
avionics.

Su 30 Computer consists of the following modules : Main Processor
Module ,1553B interface Module, Colour Symbol Gen. Module, Stroke
Symbol Gen. Module, Discrete Interface Module, Power Supply Module,
Chassis Aircraft Specific Modules (for CAC only), Video Switching
Module and Analog / Synchro Interface Module.

The Core Avionics Computer (CAC) developed by DARE is housed in a
aircraft industry standard 3/4 th ATR chassis with an option rear mount
ARINC 404 connector or front mounted 38999 series connectors. The tray
is mounted in the equipment bay/rack of the aircraft and the computer
is plugged in to the tray. It is forced air cooled and weighs less than
8 Kg. It works on both 115V 400Hz AC and 28V DC aircraft power supplies
and consumes less than 80 W of power.

CAC Functions The following are the functions of various modules of the CAC

a) Through the CPU module:

Control of the 1553B interface

  • Primary mission, navigation and weapon computations
  • Air Data Computations
  • Control of the UFCP for avionics system moding and data insertion and data readout.
  • Management of the display system (MFDs and HUD)
  • Management of the Stores (weapons) system
  • Reading and writing of mission data from the Data Loader Flash Disk.
  • Coordination of LDP and FLIR for navigation and targetting functions
  • Auto-pilot function

b) Through the Colour Symbol Generator and Monochrome Symbol Generator Modules:

i) Raster mode writing on the MFDs in colour (mixing with external sensor video)
ii) Stroke Mode writing on the HUD in monochrome.

c) Through the Intelligent Dual channel 1553B interface board:
Provide for the exchange of data among avionics subsystems in the
primary and reversionary modes; Control of the ARINC 429 channels;
Interface air data system, hand controller etc through the analog
inputs.

  • Through Discrete Interface Module Interface aircraft discretes
including the HOTAS switches to the CPU board and Interface the CAC’s
discrete outputs to the stores management system.

e) Through Synchro and Analog output Module interface the automatic flight control system and Crash Data recorder system.

f) Through the Video switching module provide for switching the
video signals in the avionics system to the MFD, HUD and the Video Tape
Recorder.
